Senator representing Edo North and former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, was the centre of attraction during the recently organized Uzairue All Progressives Congress (APC) Sallah party.
The Former Edo Governor’s arrival at the ceremony elicited wild jubilation from the party Leaders and other Guests who rented the air with ‘Oshiobaba, Oshioquake’
In his opening remark, the Uzairue APC Apex Leader, Alhaji Shaka Okwilague, said, the essence of the party was to appreciate the party Leaders for their support and cooperation to his leadership.
Alhaji Shamac Okwilague promised to run all inclusive administration where the Leaders and the people would be carried along in the running of the affairs of the party in the Kingdom.
He commended Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for finding time to attend the occasion despite the short notice and his busy schedules.
The Uzairue APC Apex Leader applauded Comrade Oshiomhole’s leadership qualities that had endeared him to the heart of the people.
Alhaji Okwilague promised the party Leaders that APC would win overwhelmingly the forthcoming governorship election in the State and sued for unity and cooperation to achieve the desired goal of winning the next Governorship election.
In his response, the former Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, thanked the Convener (Alhaji Shamac) for his leadership prowess that has endeared him to the heart of the people.
He urged the Uzairue APC Leader to run an inclusive Administration to carry the people along, adding that no leader was free from criticisms.
Comrade Oshiomhole urged Alhaji Okwilague to have the spirit of forgiveness in order to accomplish his mission of leading the party to victory.
The Former Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) President opined that he was personally indebted to the Shamac family for the role his Son played when his (Oshiomhole’s) mother fell sick.
The Former APC National Chairman posited that every tree that bears fruits becomes the attraction of people and called on him to brace up for leadership.
The party which took place at the Palatial Residence of Alhaji Shamac was attended by Ward Chairmen, Party Leaders and members of the LGA and Ward Executives.
It would be recalled that on Monday, the number One Uzairue APC Leader organized a Sallah get together party in the spirit of festivities and in demonstration of his commitment towards a prosperous and more united APC.
