A former chairman of Etsako West and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, Chief Alhaji Abubakar Akokhia Umoru JP, The Oduma of South–Ibie kingdom, has congratulated the gubernatorial candidate of edo APC, Senator Monday Okpebholo and his running mate, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa as they have been presented the party flag by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential villa.
“With the presentation of the party’s flag at the Presidential villa, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa has demonstrated a capacity to unite APC in Edo behind a common purpose. Doubtless, they will lead APC to victory in the governorship polls on September 21 ’’Akokhia said in his congratulatory message.
“We’ve shown the example today in APC as we are determined to be law abiding. The few months we have for campaign, let’s do it in a law abiding manner. I’m pledgeing on behalf of my party that we will be peaceful and respectful.
