*HON. JOSEPH UGHEOKE RECEIVES LETTER OF APPOINTMENT AS DIRECTOR GENERAL D.G, ANAMERO CAMPAIGN COUNCIL*
Today signaled the official commencement of Campaign programs for Mr. Dekeri Sunday Anamero, the APC Candidate for Etsako Federal Constituency, as Hon. Joseph Ugheoke officially steps in to steer the ship of the campaign train.
Attended by top party leaders and flag bearers of APC State House of Assembly candidates across the federal constituency, the event was held at the campaign office along Jattu road, Auchi.
The principal, Mr. Dekeri Anamero who presented the appointment letter to the DG said: “having lifted ban on campaigns by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, it is time for us to begin to do what we know how to do best. “He thereafter formally presented the new D.G to the full house which was greeted with a standing ovation.
“After due consultation with leaders of our great party, l hereby present to you Hon. Joseph Ugheoke as the D.G of my campaign council”, he said.
In his acceptance speech, the D.G thanked members of the party and assured he won’t disappoint the trust given to him. “I am not going to disappoint you. I am not going to disappoint the party. We know how we have been doing it before. All of you have been working tirelessly for the party, this is the time to work…”, he remarked.
With a seasoned politician and a political game changer as DG, analyst believed Anamero’s election is already half won given his pedigree as grassroot politician.
Until his appointment, Ugheoke has served as a former Executive Chairman of Etsako Central LGA, former Executive Director, Project Monitoring, Edo State; two times former Commissioner for Land and Survey, and later Oil and Gas respectively.
Prior to this time, the Directorate of Media and Publicity headed by Comr. Hussein Momodu (Embassy), a young and vibrant media strategist with cross sectoral experience in public relation has been vigorously marketing Dekeri Anamero with profound results across board. He prayed for Ugheoke and wished him the very best in his new appointment. I wish you success sir in your new assignment.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Abubakar Akokhia had spearheaded the campaign Committee since after the emergence of Anamero as party flag bearer. With solid foundation already laid by him and his committee members, what remains is for Ugheoke to begin to hit the ground with massive campaign across the constituency.
