Comrade Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson, the APC candidate for Etsako East Chairmanship election, has joined Muslims in Etsako East, Edo State, Nigeria and all over the world in observance of Eid-el-Kabir.
He said coming as the end of eligious activities spanning the first ten days of the Islamic Month of Dhul Hijjah, Eid-el-Kabir enjoins Muslims to show mercy and compassion to fellow humans.
Sunny in his message charged Nigerians in the spirit of this year’s Eid-el-kabir to remain focused on peace and rule of law in the country and refuse to be distracted.
The Etsako East APC chairmanship flagbearer Ekpeson, enjoined Muslims to show mercy and compassion to others and to imbibe and manifest those values inherent from the Holy prophet Mohammed, which are love, and compassion, complete devotion to Allah, tolerance, perseverance, selflessness and patience.
He noted that this celebration also enable us all to practice restraint, decorum, and humility and enjoined all faithful to be fair and just in all dealings, help the needy and heal the ailing and promote mutual understanding and peace within communities.
These injunctions, Sunny noted promote the values of universal social justice, world peace, and human progress.
