Certainly, Edo North has produced several Senators and other Political Office Holders, what is also apparently evident is that the incoming Senator, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole unarguably made Afemai proud and he remains the reference point of progressive governance in Edo State till date, as he has been rightly adjudged the best elected Governor Edo State has ever had.
Apart from his sterling performance in terms of effective governance of Edo State (2008-2016), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has always offered his voice distinctively to the admiration of everyone that knows him. His voice is not just about the audibility of the elements of his vocal track, but the embodiment of his spontaneous display of unparalleled intelligence and superfluous oratory prowess.
Indeed, the juxtaposition of such uncommon traits with the undoubted evidence of his former performance and his unquenchable desire for further growth, development and enhancement of Afemai, without doubt have put him wide ahead of other senatorial candidates, particularly the incumbent whose lacklustre performance has been characterized with bench warming, legislative indolence, uncharted obscurity, embarrassing inexposure and highly detestable greed.
Clearly, the forthcoming election is very critical and crucial to the progress and development of Edo North. Afemai must therefore wisely and boldly elect a man who is Nationally acclaimed as a man of the people by virtue of his past records, a pan Afemai, an unmatchable critical thinker with a great vocal dexterity, a highly connected lobbyist, an idealistically pragmatic and competent Afenmai.
Without any iota of doubt, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole can be trusted because he did Afemai and Edo proud when he was tested. As the cap perfectly fits him, let him wear it.
