The Nigerian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mozambique with Concurrent Accreditation to the Republic of Mauritius and Madagascar, Ambassador (Barr) Yamah Mohammed Otsemobo, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well deserved victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal,PEPT in its detailed judgement delivered on Wednesday.
Ambassador Yamah in a congratulations message personally signed by him, expressed joy and excitement on the confirmation of the Tribunal, the electoral mandate freely given to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Nigerians at a free and fair poll in February earlier this year.
He noted that over the years, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has built a reputable name for himself, as well as demonstrated an uncommon leadership dexterity that has continued to endear him to the people irrespective of ethnic nationalities and origin in Nigeria.
Ambassador Yamah maintained that the votes and victory achieved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the February 2023 poll is a reflection of the people’s confidence and trust in the leadership and ability of President Tinubu to summount and address the challenges bedeviling the nation, Nigeria.
According to the ebullient Ambassador, “without doubt, President Tinubu is one Nigerian who has successfully built a great reputation for himself in view of his uncommon pragmatic leadership.”
“Indeed, the volume of votes recorded at the Presidential election is a confirmation and a reflection of the people’s confidence and trust in Mr President’s ability, capacity and readiness to take the nation out of its present woods and reposition it as an enviable nation in Africa and the entire globe.”
While appreciating the steadfastness of the Nigerian Judiciary in weathering all the storms of intimidation and social media harassment to arrive at a very detailed, erudite and landmark judgement, Ambassador Yamah noted that the judgement is a reinforcement of the manifestation of the Renewed Hope Agenda as the thrust of President Tinubu’s administration.
“I therefore admonish all Nigerians to be patient as well as keep faith as the positive impacts of President Tinubu’s policies begin to manifest in all facets of the nation.” He concluded.
