“We are very proud of having a woman of your type; a woman with intimidating sagacity and courage.” Those were the words of Alex Alabi, the former Ward 05 Chairman as the ward played host to the indomitable amazon of Akoko Edo, Hon Adetutu Owolabi.
In his advisory note, the Ward leader, Mr Balogun O. Yunisa, popularly known as “BOY” from Ojah admonished members to work for Hon Adetutu Owolabi as the pride of Okpameri and Akoko Edo in general. “If you work for Adetutu you work for yourself”, he urged. However, Mr John Alle, on his part, passionately admonished the APC foremost aspirant, Hon Adetutu Owolabi to trend cautiously in her quest to make a difference in Akoko Edo but ended his admonition by praying for her success in the forthcoming primary election.
However, Dr Ben Williams, one of the popular Exco members of Ward 05 appreciated Hon Adetutu Owolabi for being committed to the course being chartedÓby her. He said, ” Madam, you are welcome and I deeply appreciate your commitment to this course, especially keeping to time as promised, you even got to the venue before many of us; I strongly believe that if given the mandate, you would keep to your promise as many have come and gone without remembering Ward 05.”
In a sensational and crowd-cheering style, the woman leader from Ward 05, Elizabeth Omojani, called for total support for Hon Adetutu Owolabi. She prayed fervently for a woman in Hon Adetutu Owolabi to represent the good people of Akoko Edo come, 2023.
However, Hon Adetutu Owolabi in an overwhelming ecstasy assured Ward 05 of a tremendous change her reign if elected would bring to Ward 05 and Akoko Edo in general.
