THE VAMPIRE HAS COME AGAIN TO DESTROY OUR BILLBOARDS AND OTHER CAMPAIGN INSIGNIAS IN IVIUKWE, AGENEBODE.
It must be mentioned that sometimes around November last year, our Billboards for the All Progressives Congress APC were destroyed in Iviukhu Agenebode which generated public opprobrium.
Today, another devastating menace have occurred where our Billboards and different campaign materials are yet again destroyed by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP led by Senator Francis Alimikhena and his callous supporters.
For emphasis, we need to remind Senator Francis Alimikhena and the PDP that Edo north is APC beyond 2023. After several years of contest for the seat of Senate under his now drowning party (PDP) with abysmal failures, it was the APC which he now seeks to destroy that cleans his sorrowful tears and gave him the broom vehicular ticket which he then rode to the National Assembly, Abuja courtesy of Oshiomhole to be expired May, 2023. Today, that broom vehicle is now carrying Adams Oshiomhole and Dekeri Anamero to the nation’s parliament by God’s grace.
If only they realise, Nigerian politics has long transcend beyond these mundane antics of violence under the toga of might. Such actions denigrates the exalted office of a Senator of the Federal Republic representing Edo North.
As a party anchored on peace and progress, the APC won’t and will never retaliate in any violent form as we cannot join issues with frustrated toothless politician lacking sense of decorum to destroy what rightfully belongs to us. Only a fool does that.
Rather, we will continue to woo more voters whose endorsement of our candidates remained unwavering as they are the ultimate decision makers come February 25th, 2023. Within few months, Anamero has empowered more than 1,049 students in scholarships, donated transformers, built schools, erected electricity poles to light up communities, distributed millions of exercise books to school pupils, sank boreholes to make water available, the lists are endless.
Finally, we therefore call on the directorate of the State Security Services, SSS; the Nigerian Police Force; the Nigerian Army and other para military formations to caution the PDP and carry out investigative assessment of the level of destruction of APC campaign materials before it degenerates to breakdown of law and order.
