Edo North Senatorial District’s esteemed representative in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly Comrade Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, extends his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Edo State and all Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of the Birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).


In an official statement made available to the Press by his chief media aide Victor Oshioke, the former governor of Edo State and erstwhile national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, emphasized the importance of adherence to peacful conduct as Muslims observe the Eid-el-Maulud celebrations. He further implored them to fervently beseech the Almighty for the enduring prosperity, harmony, and unity of Nigeria. Senator Oshiomhole entreated citizens of all religious affiliations and political inclinations to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, a transformative initiative aimed at replicating his commendable legacy as the governor of Lagos State on a national scale, thereby fostering a brighter future for all Nigerians.


Senator Oshiomhole underscored the miraculous significance of Prophet Muhammed’s birthday in the annals of history, expressing his optimism that the blessings of this year’s Maulud celebrations would radiate upon President Tinubu, his Cabinet, members of the National Assembly, the Judiciary, and all who share the vision of revitalizing our beloved nation.


He called upon all Nigerians to mirror the Prophet’s exemplary benevolence, sterling leadership acumen, and boundless compassion towards humanity, advocating for the collective welfare of every citizen.


On a final note, Oshiomhole called on the people of Edo North to use this opportunity to offer prayers for the souls of all those who lost their lives in the unfortunate accident that claimed many innocent victims a few days ago in Okpella Community, Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State. He expressed his condolences to the families who lost loved ones and prayed for quick healing to those who sustained various degrees of injuries in the sad occurrence
