RE: Edo 2024: Imposition of An Alleged Criminal Will Spell Doom For APC.
Our attention has been drawn to a press release credited to one Mr. Blessing Agbomhere, an aspirants in the upcoming Edo 2024 Governorship Elections wherein he alleged of a plot by the Prof Julius Ihonvbere led pre- screaming Committee to impose our principal Hon Dennis idiahosa as the candidate of APC, which according to his press statement was indicted in 2015 for Fraud by an administrative panel of inquiry set up by Governor Adam’s Oshiomhole and sack as Commissioner of Investment, Public/private Partnership.
Ordinarily, we wouldn’t have responded to these baseless allegations, but for the need to put records straight and protect innocent citizens from misinformation and fake stories, we wish to state the following:
1. Our principal, RT Hon Dennis idiahosa who is a firm believer in the rule of law, has briefed his lawyer in the person of Chief Wole Olanipekun , SAN, CFR, to immediately commence legal processes against the said Mr Blessing Agbomhere and other person involved in this false and mischievous allegations as courts processes would commence in couple of days to prove his allegations against our principal at a court of competent jurisdiction.
2. RT Hon Dennis idiahosa wishes to put on record that he was never sacked as Commissioner as alleged by Mr Blessing Agbomhere from the government of Governor Adam’s Oshiomhole as he voluntarily resigned from the government as Commissioner for Investment, public private partnership.
3. RT Hon Dennis Idiahosa also wishes to inform the general public that throughout the four months he served as Commissioner under our National Leader Adam’s Oshiomhole, there was at no time any petitions by any individual or organizations against him or panel was set up to investigate him,left alone being indicted . We ask Mr Blessing Agbomhere and his co-travellers to name the names of members of the administrative panel and when the report was submitted to the State Government.
While we wish not to go into further details as this matter will soon become subject of judicial proceedings, we want to assure our teaming supporters to remain focused on our tasks of securing our great party APC tickets and ultimately win the Edo Governorship seats back to our party APC.
Our principal also wishes to advise our supporters not to join issues with these fourth columnists whose sole goal is to cause disunity among the APC family in Edo State.
