Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the Senator representing Edo North and former governor of Edo State, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of Chief (Lady) Monica Alimikhena, the Iyi-Iyase of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom. In a condolence message conveyed through his Chief media aide, Victor Oshioke, Oshiomhole paid tribute to Lady Monica as a woman of great virtue. He emphasized her unwavering support for her husband and her invaluable role as his trusted advisor.

Oshiomhole also highlighted Lady Monica’s dedication to advocating for the empowerment of rural women and her selfless commitment to community causes. He acknowledged the deep bond between Lady Monica and her husband, Senator Francis Alimikhena, recognizing the profound impact her loss would have on the family.
