Oshiomhole consoles Hon. Dekeri on the death of his father

Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri on the passing of his beloved father. In a condolence message conveyed through Victor Oshioke, his Chief Media Aide, Oshiomhole expressed deep sadness upon hearing the news of Hon. Anamero’s father’s demise.

Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State and one-time national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, emphasized the profound pain associated with losing a close family member, and he recognized the unique trauma of losing a father who had played a pivotal role in raising his children, one of whom had achieved the political status of representing his constituents in the national assembly.

He went on to highlight the remarkable life of the late Pa Sunday Dekeri, describing him as a renowned hunter, cocoa merchant, and highly respected community leader who had a positive impact on the lives of many within his immediate community. Oshiomhole noted that Pa. Dekeri had instilled a strong sense of humanitarian service in his children, a legacy that Hon. Sunday Anamero Dekeri had taken to even greater heights. “The good works of your father certainly resonated with God, which explains why he was blessed with long life attaining the rare privilege of living above 100 years” Oshiomhole noted.

Finally, Oshiomhole, in his message, encouraged Hon. Dekeri and his siblings to find solace in the cherished memories they had shared with their father during his lifetime. He offered his prayers, asking that God welcome the departed soul of Pa Dekeri into paradise and grant those left behind the strength and resilience to cope with this profound loss.
