Lady Dr. Adetutu Owolabi, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the newly inaugurated members of the 10th National Assembly from Edo state following their inauguration on June 13, 2023.
Adetutu specially congratulated Distinguished Senator Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, the Senator representing the good people of Edo North and Rt. Honourable Peter Akpatason, wishing them a fruitful sojourn in their legislative journey.
In her goodwill message to the recently inaugurated senator Oshiomhole and Akoko-Edo House of Representatives Deputy majority leader, Peter Akpatason, she stated that the senator who have been given the mandate to represent edo north senatorial district, and Peter Akpatason are to use their platform and influence in the senate and House of Reps to attract development to the state, Constituencies and deliver the dividends of democracy to their constituents.
Continue speaking, she said: “I am certain that they will bring their experience into play in ensuring that Edo North gets quality representation at the Red Chambers and green chambers. I am happy Senator Oshiomhole played a pivotal role in the emergence of Senator Akapabio as President of the Senate.
She further implored them to work in synergy with the other senators, and other stakeholders and to use the opportunity to serve as an avenue to transform their various Edo State and constituencies. “This is an opportunity to serve the people. Regardless of party differences, we must work together to ensure our dear Senatorial District and Constituencies soars higher in terms of social amenities and capacity building. I wish them a hitch-free legislative sojourn. They should put edo north first and Almighty God will make it a smooth ride for them.” she said.
