6yrs Gone, Edo Roads Still Remains Dead Traps
This is Benin Auchi Road that cut across the three Senatorial Districts of Edo State. Edo State governor continues to put blame on Federal government.
Recall that, the former Governor of Edo state Comrade Adams Oshiomhole did not wait for Federal government before expanding ugbowo Uselu road and other Federal roads across Benin City.
First time Obaseki made promise to work on Benin bypass Sapele Road was 2years ago, he used that road to campaign in 2019 and he took advantage of the people and tipper drivers around Sapele Road simultaneously just to win their support.
As we speak, two years is gone and they are still waiting for Mr Governor.. Even Lucky Igbinedion performance is better than this, Ebonyi State is the lowest receiver of Federal allocation amongst all State in Nigeria, visit the Governor Facebook page, you will be seeing flyovers and other social basic amenities frequency on that page but in Edo state, ours is busy advertising uncompleted projects and building plans of over 5 years ago, 6years is gone, nobody can even mention 4 completed projects of our Governor…
Federal Government has failed and Edo State governor is celebrating Osun electoral victory. It has become a norm in Gov. Obaseki’s behaviour that he doesn’t care whatever suffering Edo people are going through. The end will always justify the means. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and be patient. We shall see the end of it all.
