HON. DENNIS IDAHOSA: A BIG CONGRATULATION.
This is going to be a short love letter, scriptured in romantic tone, to ululate and titilate your nerves in a very lugubrious manner, nuanced in the oleageaneous paeans to sooth and calm down your nerves after months of vigorous, energetic and nerves-recking state-wide tour. Your victory at the primaries, where you were able to dominate the conspiracies, and counter-conspiracies, tells of your sagacity, capacity and resilience in political engagements. You have rekindled the can-do spirit of an average Edo mind, especially the youths.
I was part of your process to attain this feat. I saw how you travelled through bad roads, night and day, to speak to our people, especially the youths about your message of hope. I saw how you received and returned calls each passing seconds your phone rings. You displayed your political resourcefulness without bating an eyelid. At 43, you have attained a remarkable political feat. Your bubbling energy coupled with your subliminal humility are ingredients that Edo people desirously need to chase away those who have been spreading hatred across the state. I read your acceptance speech, so accommodating and encompassing to heal the wounds in the system.
Accept my deepest congratulations on this achievement. You have just set the tone for a robust engagement in the state that will crystallise in your eventual victory at the September 21st election. The youths are waiting. The women are waiting. The people are waiting. And it must be re-echoed that NO MAN IS GOD. This is the era of youths in government. It is a movement. It is an idea. It is a system. It is a functionality that will lift fallen souls and re-ignite the passion of our shared commitment to make Edo great again. DENCO, welcome on board.
