​Hon. Peter B.U. Okponokhe Inaugurates APC Reconciliation Committee in Etsako East, Chaired by Hon. Luke Obalo

​Following a strategic leadership meeting held on May 30, 2026, at the residence of the Minister of Regional Development, Hon. (Engr.) Abubakar Momoh, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has resolved to constitute a Reconciliation Committee.
​The committee has been established to address pressing issues arising from various party congresses and the recently concluded primary elections across all levels. Its primary objective is to find amicable pathways to reconciliation and appease members who may have been aggrieved by the outcomes of these processes.
​Committee Members
​The following members were officially nominated to serve on the reconciliation committee:
Hon. Luke Obalo – Chairman.

3) ​Hon. Edward Imanobe

​Terms of Reference:
​The committee will operate under the following clear mandates:

​A. Identify Congress Disputes:
Pinpoint specific areas of friction, misunderstandings, or unresolved issues within the APC family that stemmed from the party congresses.

​B. Resolve Primary Election Grievances: Identify and document conflicts or misunderstandings arising from the party primaries at all levels, including Councillorship, Chairmanship, House of Assembly, House of Representatives.

​C. Mediate and Escalate:
Actively address these grievances and escalate complex, unresolvable issues to the party leadership for higher-level intervention.

​D. Prevent Future Fractures:
Formulate actionable recommendations to prevent, avert, or forestall similar internal infractions and divisions in future party engagements.
