The current happening in Edo State APC and the arrangements to bring back or accept the Deputy Governor Comrade Philip Shuaibu back to the All Progressive Congress APC will be rejected and resisted by the good people of Etsako East , Edo-north and Edo State at large.
The negotiation by the Deputy Governor Comrade Philip Shuaibu commenced when the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo visited Edo State during the Conferment of Chieftaincy title on Prince Clem Ikanade Agba the Hon Minister of Budget and Planning as the Oduma of Auchi Sacred Kingdom. On that faithful day the Deputy Governor abandoned his enthorange and joined that of the Vice President to enable him commence discussions of his desire to return back to the party. It would be recalled that Comrade Phillip Shuaibu publicly tore the flag of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Edo State Government house when he decamped fro the party to the People Democratic Party PDP in 2019.
Information reaching us has confirmed that the Deputy Governor has not relented on his efforts in trying to negotiate his way back to the All Progressive Congress, APC through the APC Governors forum and some of the party’s past executive leaders based in Abuja in the likes of a former Governor/former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief John Odigie Oyegun and some other party elders who could not win their polling units in the last governorship election in Edo State.
Edo-North APC do not need Philip Shuaibu and his Ogbane cohorts to win any election as Philip and his gang are politically irrelevant in the Senatorial district.
In Etsako East we have reduced the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and the Newpdp to the bearest minimum and we will prove this in the forthcoming general election.
We are calling on the national leaders, state leaders and LGA leaders and leaders at all levels to reject the coming back of tractors and betrayals to APC in other to allow us to continue to enjoy the current unity, peace and love in the party.
We wish to state very categorically that Comrade Philip Shuaibu and his cohorts have nothing to offer other than disunity, infighting and dirty power tussle. Enough is enough and let those that have ears hear. We are watching them very closely and will ensure that the negotiation fails.
