EDO 2024: WHY WE MUST REJECT OBASEKI AND HIS STOOGE, ASUE IGHODALO.

WHY WE MUST REJECT OBASEKI AND HIS STOOGE, ASUE IGHODALO.

Like the late Adolf Hitler of Germany, Obaseki is in his elements, employing every deceptive tools in the Nocolo Machiaveli fiction, “The Prince” and Robert Greene 48 Laws of Power. He has exhausted the crude applications of the 48 Laws of Power. In applying these Laws, he completely forgot number 5 of those Laws. Permit me to reproduce here for emphasis “so much depends on reputation- guard it with your life”…..He lies effortlessly and has no reputation whatsoever.

According to Law 36 of the 48 Laws of Power, “When faced with an irritating, but minor offense, sometimes the best course is to ignore it. Not responding can be a demonstration of power — a message that it’s not worth your interest” Philip Shuaibu’s minor irritation of seeking to become Governor (his Guaranteed right under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) could have been handled with tact and Asue is complicit.

When Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomole forced Obaseki on the People of Edo State in 2016, little did he know that Obaseki will turn around to orchestrate his removal as National Chairman. A man who was carrying his bag everywhere for 8years. The head of his economic Team and almost a yes man throughout his tenure as Governor. He betrayed everyone who assisted him to gain power including the PDP that gave him Shelter after Oshiomole rightly denied him his second term ticket in APC. What broke the Camels back was his betrayal of Rt Hon Philip Shuaibu.

Of all the People Obaseki betrayed, Comrade Philip Shuaibu did not deserve that kind of treatment. Philip’s loyalty to Obaseki naturally alienated him from his People, the Afemai People of Edo North and would have completely made him a political Orphan but for his sagacity and deft moves that saw him recovery very fast, almost becoming a Hero. I guess Obaseki never saw this. He thought he was putting nails on his political Coffin but ended up resurrecting Philip to his own eternal shame.

Today Philip has rejoined his political family and he is waxing stronger by the day. Uniting the Afemais for a battle Royale come September 21st.

The combination of Philip, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, Abu Meepatan, Sunday Dekeri Anamelo, Danco, Engr Abubakar Momoh, the indefatigable Comrade Adams Oshiomole, to mention but a few, will deliver very potent and devastating blow to Obaseki’s attempt to become the new godfather of Edo State.

What was Asue’s role in all of these? A man who wanted to inherit the Throne couldn’t have stood with hands akimbo while Obaseki took all the decisions to humiliate his friends and those who have been loyal to him. It was simply bad optics for his Leadership acumen. It is either that he had no say, which was bad enough or he was gloating has Obaseki took on everybody and destroyed everything he touched, Friends and Foes alike.

My conclusion is that Asue will be worse than Godwin Obaseki if Edo ever has the misfortune of electing him, another Foreigner as Governor.

Let another man come in and look at the books for the good of Edo State. The duo of Asue and Ogie will simply continue from where Obaseki stops like they have said.

Monday Okpebholo is humble, humane and is needed at this time to unite Edo and bring progress and prosperity to the People.

My name is,
Engr Abu Abdulganiyu
And i approve this message.
