A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr. Sunny Ekpetika has congratulated the doggedness of the four APC Edo State House of Assembly newly inaugurated Honourable Members: Hon. Kingsley Oghenakhogie Ugabi for Etsako East, Barr. Ahmed Waziri for Etsako Central, Hussein Lecky Mustapha for Etsako West Constituency l and Gani Akokhia for Etsako West Constituency ll as they’re sworn-in oath of office in the state capital, Benin—City.
In a statement, he said, the victory of the four Progressives candidates are well deserved victory that has reinforced the trust Edo North have in APC leadership. Because the Oshiomhole led administration has provide the much-desired impetus for good governance and peace in the state.
And the victory of the four candidates in Etsakos of our party in the House of Assembly’s election clearly showed that APC remains a party to beat in Edo North based on her achievements in the state since the beginning of the current political dispensation in 1999, Sunny noted.
The successive administrations in Edo North have put the people at the centre of their action, resulting in several people-oriented programmes. This has continued to manifest in the voting patterns in the Senatorial District of our political juggernauts: Distinguished Senator Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, Jarrett C. Tenebe and a host of others.
The diaspora boss Ekpetika advised the four newly inaugurated lawmakers to continue with the tradition of excellent representation that Edo North legislators are known for.
I wish to thank our indefatigable workaholic political leader, Adams Aliu Oshiomhole for taking all the bullets in the defence of the continuity of genuine progress in Edo North.
I will not fail to congratulate all the leaders of our great party and members for their unflinching support towards the achievement of this victory, Jarrett Tenebe demonstrated an uncommon leadership character in the victory. It was a dogged fight but he never gave up, may God continue to bless him, Sunny said.
