Dr. Adetutu Owolabi’s Foundation Has Touch Many Live In Edo-north
Dr. Owolabi has a foundation called Stephen Gideon Owolabi Women and Children Foundation. It is a charity organization, non-profit and non governmental organization that gives:
1. Free medical outreach: The Dr. Adetutu Owolabi Foundation has organized and conducted free medical outreach programs in various communities. These programs provide essential medical services to individuals who may not have access to healthcare due to financial constraints. The foundation sets up temporary clinics and bring in medical professionals to offer consultations, check-ups, and treatments. 2. Cash donations to widows: The foundation recognizes the challenges faced by widows who often struggle financially after the loss of their spouses. To alleviate their financial burdens, Dr. Adetutu Owolabi Foundation in 2019 Empowered 10 windows per ward with 10,000 naira cash donation each, this was done across the 64 political wards in Edo-North . These donations was used to cover basic needs such as food, shelter, and education for their children. By offering financial support, the foundation aims to empower widows and help them rebuild their lives.
3. Donation of borehole to the community: Access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental necessity for any community. Dr. Adetutu Owolabi’s Foundation has contributed to improving water accessibility by donating boreholes to communities in need. These boreholes provide a sustainable source of clean water, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases and improving overall hygiene and sanitation.
