Recall that Mr Godwin Obaseki, the Edo State Governor, refused to share COVID-19 Palliatives, which was met for the good people of Edo State but was later used for 2020 Governorship Election in the state. It is wrong for the Edo government to be playing politics with issues of governance at the expense of the lives of the people.
Recall also that Governor Godwin Obaseki and his teams once rejected the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led federal government palliatives measure to quitching the effects of the Subsidy removal but went behind to correct N2billion and trucks of goods from the federal government as part of the Palliatives measure due to Edo State. Uptill this moment Mr Governor is quiet about it. This means to us that Mr Godwin Obaseki has stolen our palliatives again.

Mr Godwin Obaseki and his teams also received trucks of food items from the federal government, which he has also kept for campaigns in the forthcoming Governorship Election come 2024.
Remember, we advise the federal government not to give our Palliatives to Governor Godwin Obaseki led state government because he can’t be trusted with food items and money. The current Edo State Government is like YAM AND GOAT, which shouldn’t be kept in the same garden and don’t even talk of food items in the hands of Governor Obaseki.
