A group, supporters of Hon. Adetutu Owolabi’s Akoko-Edo Federal constituency as the next House of Representative hopeful has expressed anger following the alleged news that some delegates, LGA chairmen, Leaders and others has been summoned to Abuja for a roundtable meeting to be given money to buy their decisions ahead of the HoR primaries elections.
Speaker of the group, Johnson Okakhumhe said, Government is widely believed to be an instrument through which a society is organised in order to maintain law and order as well as advance the necessary social amenities in a community.
My great compatriots Akoko-Edo delegates, while we acknowledged the frantic efforts made by previous administrations in finding possible solutions to our problems, still one cannot pretend flagrant ignorance of the dwindling as regard our unionism in Akoko-Edo today. It’s our collective interest to contribute in transforming the union by exhibition all inclusive and purposeful leadership that will reinvigorate more policies and programs geared toward ameliorating the plights of our constituency, Johnson noted.
Adetutu Owolabi’s vehement can only guaranteed under a charismatic, competent, and visionary leadership and we will never get tired to assist her with all the necessary support she needs from us.
