Government is widely believed to be an instrument through which a society is organised in order to maintain law and order as well as advance the necessary social amenities in a community.
Popularly referred to as SUG, Students Union Governments were established in various institutions of higher learning to promote unity, orderliness and smooth relationship between students, school authorities and the state or Federal Government.
She wrote as she begs great students of the polytechnic to support and vote for her;
My great polytes and compatriots, while we acknowledged the frantic efforts made by previous administrations in finding possible solutions to our problems, still one cannot pretend flagrant ignorance of the dwindling as regard student Unionism in university today. It’s our collective interest to contribute in transforming the union by exhibition all inclusive and purposeful leadership that will reinvigorate more policies and programs geared toward ameliorating the plights of our students.
My beloveds, the price of commodities and services, transportation fare and sanitary conditions of the food eating places and food vendors in the campus is not something good to write about. It’s my candid believe that this pervasive issue can only be addressed by inspiring and persuading the management to come in and salvage the pathetic situation by enacting new laws and strengthening the existing one’s that could pave a way for commodities and services price control, periodic inspection of food vendors and food eating places which I am vehement can only guaranteed under a charismatic, competent, and visionary leadership.
