Edo APC Group Accuses Malami”s Ally, Luqman Mohammed, of Acting Script of Opposition Leaders to Distabilize APC
A Pro All Progressives Congress (APC), Group by the name “Edo For Sustainable Development and Progress ” , has accused a member of Ambrose Alli University Governing Council, Hon. Luqman Mohammed, an Ally of the immediate Past Attorney- General and Minister of Justice , Abubakar Malami, (SAN) , of acting the script of the opposition Leaders to distabilize the peace and unity being experienced in Edo State APC.
The APC Group accused the former Edo State House of Assembly member of being a mole and a willing tool planted by PDP and ADC Leaders to distabilize the already existing peace in the party.
According to a statement released by the Spokesman of the Group and made available to newsmen in Benin city on Saturday, Mr. Peter Mohammed, the Group accused Hon. Luqman Mohammed and his cohort’s of convening a secret meeting at the residence of a top Chieftain of the party where it was decided that the distabilizatipn of the All Progressives Congress would begin from Edo North ahead of the 2027 General election.
They accused the AAU Governing Council member of working for the PDP to hijack the Political Structure of APC in Edo North before handing it over to the PDP after a lot of damages have been done to the party.
The Group stated that Hon. Luqman Mohammed attends APC meetings during the day and PDP’s meetings at night, vowing to expose and resist such efforts.
According to them , the former Edo State Lawmaker is working against the interest of the party, claiming that his recent outburst against the party was part of PDP and ADC’s plots and called for a thorough investigation of the weighty allegations.
