Adetutu Owolabi, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been honoured at the just concluded Afemai award convention held at Lecky’s Hall, Auchi, Edo State.
The Afemai awards, which honours individuals contributing selflessly to community development and inclusion in edo state, is a quest to recognise those quietly pursuing the development of the society through their immense contributions towards peace, justice and human rights and Dr. Adetutu Owolabi has been a trustworthy and wonderful woman.
The Afemai awards provides the platform to outstanding and deserving individuals who have contributed to the rights of communities across Edo State, which Lady Adetutu Owolabi have done extremely well in Akoko-Edo.
Adetutu being among the awardees shows that the world feels the impact of the work that she has been doing in Akoko-Edo, Edo State and Nigeria at large whose work has helped children in primary schools, tertiary institutions, paying of hospitals bills for women, building of healthcare centres, boreholes to mention but a few.
